“Land Art- arts in the shaping of attitudes toward sustainability” Workshop at Parádfürdő
On 22th-23th of October Zöld Hullám Közhasznú Természetbarát Egyesület invited people to participate in two days workshop. The workshop was organized in cooperation with Sustainable Legacy and Environment Association (FÖKKE). Followed by presentations and discussions on the values and possible usages of the land-art technique, participants had the opportunity to create such installations in the nearby forest of Parádfürdő.

The event was disseminated in the monthly newsletter of the Association and on the websites of both FÖKKE and Green Wave. Longer summary and video footage are also available.

The first partners' meeting minutes in the media of Turkey

After the first project partners transnational meeting in Vilnius a few messages about this event were published in Turkey media.

The first one was published in Oltu Gazetesi, the second one in Amatőr Blogcu, the third one in Oltunun' Sesi, the fouth - Haber Oltu.

 
Transnational Meeting in Vilnius, Lithuania, October 20-21, 2011

International seminar took place in Vilnius October 20-21. NGO representatives from Italy, Turkey, Hungary and Lithuania gathered in Vilnius to discuss about eco-creativity.

The 4 partners had the chance of knowing each other and to find consensus on the over-all aims and technical organization issues of the project.

During the meeting in Vilnius, organized by Semiotinių tyrimų centras the participants used the opportunity to present all organizations, to create the necessary materials, shares opinions about project implementation and decide on future plans. During free time, meeting participants visited Vilnius old town, tried traditional Lithuanian cuisine.

 
Semiotics research centre: the ECO label should not become a useless commodity

Because of the abundance of projects and initiatives and increasingly popular ecological ideas in society the “ECO” label has become an instrument of marketing, used mainly to attract more consumers and stimulate purchases. Although many people from many different countries already understand the benefits and necessity of leading an eco life, most of them are not doing anything proactive or their contribution consists only of searching for ecological products. These and other problems will be addressed in an international meeting of non-governmental organizations from Italy, Hungary. Turkey and Lithuania, which will be taking place in Vilnius, Lithuania on the 20-21st of October.
